Retro Rides 4 Brides
A non-refundable deposit of £100 is required to secure your wedding date and vehicle. Quotes are valid for fourteen days from the date of issue. If you have decided to make a booking with us, we recommended that you secure your date with a deposit as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.
Full payment is due 4 weeks before the date of the hire. Failure to do so may result in cancellation of the hire.
Changes made to the booking after the quote has been accepted may incur further charges.
Retro Rides 4 Brides reserves the right to apply the cancellation charges as stated below. All cancellations must be received in writing. In the event of a cancellation the following charges will be applied and are exclusive of the non-refundable deposit(s):
Cancelled between 3 to 6 months before date of hire: 30% of the quoted total hire
Cancelled between date of hire to 3 months: 100% of the quoted total hire
Retro Rides 4 Brides reserves the right to cancel your booking. In the unlikely event of Retro Rides 4 Brides having to cancel your booking, a full refund will be issued to the client.
N.B. Rescheduled Weddings - If you need to cancel a rescheduled wedding, the original wedding date booked will apply when determining cancellation charges and refunds etc.
We reserve the right to charge the hirer a minimum of £100 for any breakages or spillages incurred to the vehicle whilst under hire. In the event of body or paint damage to the vehicle due to negligence by the hirer or hirer’s party, the hirer shall be liable for all repairs.
Retro Rides 4 Brides is unable to take responsibility for unforeseen conditions or circumstances which may result in a delay or cancellation. These conditions include but are not limited to adverse weather conditions, mechanical/electrical breakdown or restricted access.
Where a vehicle breaks down before the ceremony, every effort will be made for an immediate repair to the vehicle so that the journey can continue, or where possible the hirer will be transferred to another vehicle (not necessarily a Volkswagen Camper) so that the journey can continue. Any reasonable cost incurred will be borne by Retro Rides 4 Brides.
If onward transportation is not possible to arrange, a full refund will be given. If a vehicle breaks down after the ceremony no refund will be given although we will do everything we can to make sure the bride and groom find transportation to their reception (if applicable), covering any costs incurred for the hire of another vehicle.
We cannot be held responsible for traffic congestion which may lead to late or missed connections en route to your destination. No refund will be given for missed or late connections.
There is a strict no smoking policy in the vehicle at all times. Maximum number of passengers in the rear of the vehicle is 6. This is however dependent upon the passengers and size of the dresses etc.
We will accept no responsibility for any loss or damage to personal property or luggage whilst using our vehicles.
Seatbelts are not required in the rear of the vehicle. By law children under 3 are unable to travel in vehicles without seat belts. A child under 3 is permitted to travel in a car seat in the front of our vehicle due to the absence of air bags. There is a static three-point seat belt fitted for this purpose. Children 3 – 16 can travel without seat belts.
The driver or Retro Rides 4 Brides cannot be held responsible for any injuries caused through any accidents, be it our fault or a third party. A Travel Consent Form must be signed by the parent or guardian of each child travelling in our vehicle on the day of the wedding.
We take photographs at your wedding which we may use on social media or our website. If you would prefer us not to take any photographs, please advise us when you confirm your booking.
